What changes the price
- Bike spec: entry hardtail (€25) → e-MTB full-suss (€90). Rider weight + suspension travel matter.
- Shuttle inclusion: van-assisted enduro tours add €30-50 over self-pedal — but the time savings (and elevation) are worth it for gravity-focused days.
- Group size: private tours split fixed-cost. Splitting 4 ways vs 2 ways changes per-person price by 50%.
- Season: Apr-Oct is peak. Trans Madeira race week (early Sep) sells out months ahead.
- Booking channel: direct operator usually €5-10 cheaper than aggregators.
